The 2002 Truck Co-op project is over, and was a huge success! Thanks to everyone who helped out, especially our drivers, Victor and Neight! Will this happen again next year? I'll let you know. If it does, the truck will be larger.

How this works: As more people sign up, the lower per-person cost. A donation, additional money someone is willing to pay on top of the final per-person cost, brings the cost even lower. Drivers pack stuff for free and are not included in any calculation here, unless they offer to make a donation or pay for their space. Bikes cost 75.00 no matter what, unless you buy a truck share - then you can pack in as many bikes as as you want into your share space. I am willing to cover the difference if the cost per person does not go below $220.

Truck information: 24' Truck, 1550 cu.ft. 11000 lb capacity rented from Ryder TRS/Budget. I am still in the process in trying to work a better deal with Ryder. Our current cost per mile is $0.16/mile, and I'd like to get this a bit lower. I have chosen to stick with Ryder this year because of our positive experience with them last year.
